More than 400 industrial and logistics developers, investors and advisers attended this year’s Shedmasters event at MIPIM.
With the market going from strength to strength – driven by a significant uptick to continued activity by online retailers - they were in buoyant mood. Figures from Savills released ahead of the event showed that take-up in the UK warehouse market (units of 100,000 sq ft +) is set to reach 13.1m sq ft in Q1 2018, the highest on record and 115% above the long-term average of 6.1m sq ft.
