MIPIM UK 2016: devolution is futile concept unless local authority partnerships actively seek to use the powers devolved to them, an EG panel at MIPIM UK heard today.
Panellists included Stephen Barter, chairman – Real Estate Advisory Practice KPMG; Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive, Manchester City Council; Liz Peace, Chair of the Curzon Urban Regeneration Company (Greater Birmingham); Reda Khatim, CEO of Palm Capital; and Phil Davies, chairman, Liverpool Combined Authority/Leader, Wirral Council. A presentation was given by James Child, Research Manager, EGi Research. Samantha McClary, deputy editor, Estates Gazette was chairing.
