The four-strong City investment team of Deloitte Real Estate is moving to Savills. Led by Jamie Olley it also includes Thomas Reeves, Jamie Binstock and David McArthur.
Stephen Down, executive director and head of central London and International at Savills speaks to EG about taking over the Deloitte staff and how the grab for talent will continue as market conditions toughen.
"I think it is likely we will see further consolidation in the market. We have had three very strong years in London and I'm nnot nervous about the next 18months but I do expect turnover will drop. We are making sure we maintain market share and those businesses on periphery they will want to join forces so they have strength in their own base in London," he said.
